This product is sold exclusively as a dietary supplement. It is not a medicine. Its use is based on traditional TCM applications.

Main benefits

  • Pattern Identification: Traditionally used for the TCM pattern of “Seasonal Damp-Warmth Epidemic (Damp-Heat) Pathogen Lodged in the Qi Level,” characterized by lingering fever, severe lethargy, heavy aching limbs, chest oppression, abdominal fullness, a swollen or sore throat, potential mild jaundice, and dark, scanty urination.

  • Damp-Heat & Toxicity Clearance: Hua Shi, Yin Chen Hao, and Huang Qin form a powerful base to drain Damp-Heat and resolve toxicity from all three Jiao (burners), effectively clearing the thick, stifling, and inflammatory nature of this specific pathogenic combination.

  • Aromatic Turbidity Transformation: Huo Xiang, Bai Dou Kou, and Shi Chang Pu act as an aromatic trio to pierce through turbid Dampness and awaken the Spleen, directly relieving the heavy, foggy, and lethargic sensations in the head, chest, and digestive tract without being overly drying.

  • Throat & Upper Jiao Relief: Lian Qiao, Bo He, She Gan, and Chuan Bei Mu specifically target the upper body to disperse Wind-Heat, clear toxicity, and soothe the throat, providing rapid relief for swollen glands, painful sore throat, and trapped phlegm.

  • Downward Drainage: Hua Shi and Mu Tong ensure the pathogen has an exit route by promoting urination and leaching out Damp-Heat through the lower body, relieving urinary urgency and clearing the dark, hot urine associated with internal heat.

  • Classical Heritage: A famous Qing Dynasty "Wen Bing" (Warm Disease theory) formula compiled by the legendary physician Ye Tian-Shi, historically revered as the "Sweet Dew" that detoxifies the body during warm, damp seasons when infectious pathogens cause heavy, lingering fevers and throat swelling.

Zhenatura Gan Lu Xiao Du Dan Extra Strong is based on the classical Gan Lu Xiao Du Dan (“Sweet Dew Elixir to Eliminate Toxins”), a formula historically recorded in Qing‑dynasty medical collections and later widely cited for so‑called “damp‑warm” or “summer‑heat with dampness” patterns. Within traditional Chinese herbal literature, the version composed of Talcum (Hua Shi), Herba Artemisiae capillaris (Yin Chen Hao), Radix Scutellariae (Huang Qin), Rhizoma Acori tatarinowii (Shi Chang Pu), Caulis Akebiae (Mu Tong), Bulbus Fritillariae cirrhosae (Chuan Bei Mu), Herba Pogostemonis (Huo Xiang), Fructus Forsythiae (Lian Qiao), Fructus Amomi rotundus (Bai Dou Kou), Herba Menthae (Bo He), Rhizoma Belamcandae (She Gan), and in modern preparations a neutral base such as corn starch, is described as a method to “induce diuresis and drain Dampness,” “transform turbidity,” “clear Heat,” and “resolve so‑called ‘toxins’ in the throat and upper body” according to the TCM theoretical framework. These descriptions belong exclusively to the traditional conceptual system of Chinese medicine and do not refer to modern infectious‑disease models, hepatology, immunology, or scientifically validated physiological effects.
