This product is sold exclusively as a dietary supplement. It is not a medicine. Its use is based on traditional TCM applications.

Main benefits

  • Pattern Identification: Traditionally used for the TCM pattern of blazing Stomach Fire combined with Kidney Yin deficiency, summarized classically as "Shaoyin deficiency, Yangming excess." This is characterized by severe toothache (often with loose teeth), bleeding or swollen gums, frontal headache, dry mouth, intense thirst, and sometimes a low-grade fever.

  • Core Function: The formula is classically said to clear excess Stomach Heat, nourish Kidney Yin, cool the Blood, and drain Fire downwards.

  • Yin and Fire Relationship: Based on the TCM principle that severe Stomach Fire scorches Yin fluids, while weakened Kidney Yin fails to anchor and cool that Fire from below. The formula simultaneously extinguishes the aggressive flare-up in the Stomach (Yangming) while replenishing the deep water reserves of the Kidneys (Shaoyin) to break this vicious cycle.

  • Key Ingredients: Shi Gao (Gypsum) acts powerfully to clear blazing Stomach Fire and relieve intense facial and dental pain; Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia) acts as the principal herb to deeply nourish Kidney Yin; Zhi Mu (Anemarrhena) bridges both actions by clearing Heat and moistening Yin; Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogon) moistens the Stomach and Lungs to generate fluids and stop thirst; and Niu Xi (Achyranthes/Cyathula) directs Heat and Blood downward, away from the gums and head, while nourishing the Kidneys to support the bones (and teeth).

  • Stomatological Component (TCM): Widely utilized for acute and severe oral and dental distress—such as periodontitis, stomatitis, or severe gingival bleeding—where underlying exhaustion (Yin deficiency) has allowed digestive heat to erupt violently in the mouth.

  • Region of Action: Primarily targets the Stomach and the Yangming channel (face, gums, and teeth) where the Heat manifests, as well as the Kidneys (Shaoyin) to address the root fluid depletion.

  • Classical Heritage: Formulated by the renowned Ming-dynasty physician Zhang Jing-Yue, it is the absolute classical archetype ("Jade Woman Decoction") for balancing the complex presentation of simultaneous upper-body Excess Fire and lower-body Yin depletion.

Zhenatura Yu Nu Jian Extra Strong is based on the classical Yu Nu Jian (“Jade Woman Decoction”), first recorded in the Ming-dynasty medical text Jing Yue Quan Shu (“The Complete Works of Jingyue”) by the renowned physician Zhang Jing-yue. Within traditional Chinese herbal literature, this specific combination of botanicals and traditional ingredients—including Gypsum, Prepared Rehmannia Root, Ophiopogon Root, Anemarrhena Rhizome, and Achyranthes Root—was described as a method to “clear Stomach Heat,” “nourish Kidney Yin,” and “generate fluids” in accordance with the TCM theoretical framework. These descriptions belong exclusively to the traditional conceptual system of Chinese medicine and do not refer to modern anatomy, psychology, or scientifically validated physiological effects.

For Yu Nu Jian, take 3 tablets 2 times per day. These should be taken before or after meal.
